Urban Egg

It's early May 2026 and the wife decided we were going to spend the day in KC. This time we are trying the competitor to one of our favorite brunch restaurants. That's how we ended up at Urban Egg. We ordered a Breakfast Old Fashioned, and a Maui Waui Mimosa for drinks. For entrees we ordered a Chicken and Waffles Eggs Benedict, and a BBQ Brisket Eggs Benedict. The flavors were awesome and the servings were adequate. The service was very friendly and timely. We may have a very good contender on our new favorite restaurant for brunch.

I only leave reviews if a place was really good and people need to know or it’s really bad and people need to know. This place is amazing. It was packed but the wait wasn’t long. Drinks came quick and were cold and fresh. But by far, the best of this place was the food. I had the protein bowl and my wife had biscuits and gravy and both were phenomenal. 10/10 recommend this place to EVERYONE!

This place is good. Let me rephrase that... it is great. The staff was amazing. The food was cataclysmic my taste buds were firing on all cylinders. The chicken with the country gravy had me wanting more. Pancakes were fluffy, Eggs were banging. It was all good.nYall come to Lee's Summit so we can call it a wrap.

We have been here two Sundays in a row and both times were delicious! The biscuits and gravy is best in the city! The blueberry struesel pancakes with lemon butter were amazing! Service was great, especially from John the manager and Kelvin the manager in training.

This was our first visit to Urban Egg, but it won't be our last! Our service was prompt and friendly. They paid us just enough attention to feel seen, but not harassed. The food was delicious and the amount you get for the money is substantial. We thoroughly enjoyed our food that was quite tasty!
