The Rangeley Inn & Tavern

We stayed at the Rangeley Inn & Tavern for four nights in January as guests for a wedding on site. I was so impressed by the service and accomodations! From flexible late-night check-in when we had travel delays, to fitting us in an extra night at due to inclement weather. The hotel is right downtown, so even in record-breaking cold there was plenty to walk to. Parking was easy and we had no issues with access from all the snow that fell.

Stopped in for breakfast. But it was wonderful and we are planning a return trip. Step back in time and melt into the wilderness.

Nice little spot, a bit on the fancy side. Sat down at the bar and had the soup and a couple beers. Not much interaction from the bartender. The soup (haddock chowder) didn't have much flavor, had to add a healthy dose of salt and pepper. I can't speak for the rooms.

Service at the Rangeley Inn is above and beyond. I've stayed here 6 different times and its my go-to for the area. One visit my phone charger broke, the receptionist let me use her personal charger so that I could use Maps for my drive home. (!) The rooms are comfortable and the location is perfect walking distance for all of Rangeley.

We recently spent 2 nights at this wonderful Inn. From the moment we arrived the hotel staff was so welcoming ( Susan was so nice). The inn still has the charm of a place built in 1906 but had been restored to be with the current times. This place is so clean. Our room was very comfortable, clean & quiet. We had breakfast both mornings and dinner one evening. The food was delicious, much better than most hotel fare. I can’t say enough about how much we loved this place. If you’re local, I highly recommend the restaurant. Our bartender Mary was so friendly and helpful. I wish I could give this place 10 stars.
