The Original Pancake House – DTC

This is the ultimate pancake house for those of you like pancakes and have big appetites! I ordered the apple pancake and 4 of us couldn't finish it. My husband's Denver omelette was as big as a chicken!nnThe food is tasty and very middle America. Everyone will like it. It is a great family placennOne plus: real fresh squeezed orange juice.

OUTSTANDING! This places is a must try 100%!nJust by walking in and seeing all the tables filled up, you know this place was a good choice. We had a seat out on the patio, which to my surprise they had overhead heaters outside which was a plus!nFor starters, the orange juice is freshly squeezed and delicious! Not sour it was mostly sweet which my partner and I loved.nFood came out quicker than expected and everything was hot!nI got the biscuits and gravy with scram eggs and house potatoes. So delicious I really liked the gravy and sausage bits, if I had a bigger stomach I would of ate everything on my plate! My partner got the buttermilk pancakes and just WOW. He took a bite and leaned back in his chair and savored it. Absolutely the best pancake we have ever had! I highly recommend trying their pancakes, so buttery, soft and flavorful.nWe also ordered a side of bacon which was perfectly crispy.nI highly recommend this place, I will 100% be back as soon as I can!

Will return. I had the eggnog french toast and it was delectable. Ordered a side of bacon which was thick cut and perfectly cooked. French toast came with lingonberry jam and it was so delicious I did not need or us any other syrup. Coffee was good. Server kept up with refills, bathroom was clean and bright. Busy friday morning there was only a short wait and the restaurant seemed to always have at least 1 table available. Parking lot had spots and plenty of parking in front and on the side. Outdoor seating was filling up as the high was 60° mid December.

The BEST! Omg I miss places like this. You get soooo much food, and the prices are very fair. The pancakes are delicious, omelettes are huge (actually a little too big, almost feels wasteful), and everything comes out so quickly. Our server was kind but efficient. Will be back! Just make sure to add yourself to the waitlist to avoid a long wait.

This breakfast spot absolutely delivers on food quality. Everything is made from scratch, and you can taste the difference in every bite. The menu is a little on the pricey side, but the portions are massive. Easily enough to split a plate or take half home and still be satisfied, so the value is actually solid.nnThe only real downside is how busy it gets in the morning. It was packed, and the noise level made conversation a bit tough. That said, if you care more about excellent, scratch-made food and generous portions than a quiet atmosphere, this place is well worth the visit.
