The Newfane Store

The food here is soooo good! The fries are perfect, pulled pork well smoked, and butter chicken is better than most Indian places in Boston. You can tell they put real care in their food!

I ordered a tripple espresso, small, maple latte, it was $8 even. Expensive! but I felt it must be worth it..... then I watched her place a cup of milk into the microwave, poor espresso shots into it, add syrup and hand it to me:(?nNo foam, no froth, zapped in micro of all nutritional vitamins & nutrients. Not what I expected for an $8 latte.nCustomer Service is excellent but severely overpriced for locals to enjoy and essentially a pricey cup of Joe with flat milk.

Food so good we ate breakfast & lunch there…if we had room in our bellies we would’ve had supper from there as well. Was able to get good nearby hiking suggestions from an employee & a patron as we ate our food at the cozy table seating they have set up. Music was also on point for what its worth! I’ll never pass thru this town & not be able to stop in here!

This store is a gem. Nicely curated foods, beverages, snacks, and Vermont knickknacks. BUT, the deli is the heart and soul of the Newfane Store! Quality ingredients made by friendly staff and an interesting and creative sandwich menu. Best of all, the owner David (who, by the way is the lead singer of the local band, The Davids!).

The beef brisket breakfast sandwich is delicious. Brisket has so much flavor! I appreciate the beef option since I do not eat pork. Also the Sammy breakfast sandwich has the sweetest most delicious bread. They even have iced coffee. Pleasantly surprised for a “store”. We are staying at the Four Columns and got a Breakfast voucher for this location. We will definitely be returning to purchase breakfast.
