The restaurant was very clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I don’t know her name, but she told me it was her first day at work — and it was also the first time my child and I had eaten there.nnThe food portions were generous. I ordered pancakes and waffles, and they were much bigger than I expected. The taste was very good, especially for us as Asians who can be quite picky with food.nnWhen we were about to pay before leaving, the staff told us that someone had already paid our bill. I felt so surprised and truly touched. It was a very memorable and wonderful first experience for both me and my daughter.

My parents live in Wiscasset and I love going to this restaurant. I’ve been here at least a half a dozen times and the food and the service is always fantastic. The last time I ate here was a couple of weeks ago and I had the eggs Benedict and it was awesome. I go back back-and-forth to Florida and eat at a lot of restaurants and this one is a great pick. Very reasonable excellent food and excellent service.

This is a wonderful place to get a hearty breakfast or early lunch.nThe food servings are plentiful and delicious and this is the first place I have eaten where the dish that arrives on your plate looks exactly like it does in the photo on the menu. What you see in the pic is what you will get. I especially recommend the biscuits and sausage gravy, the haddock chowder, and the corned beef hashnFriendly owner and servers, as well.
