Rockport Diner

We stopped for breakfast twice while visiting the area. The waitress was delightful. The food was very good diner food. We were served quickly both days and the food was fresh and delicious. We will be back on a future visit to the area.

We went in for dinner and got seated right away. However, we waited over 30 minutes for our food.nnQuesadilla was good. Nice large portion.nLobster on the lobster roll was ice cold. It was almost frozen. I ordered it with hot butter and the lobster was so cold that the butter started to congeal again. It made for an unpleasant experience in my mouth. Croissant was more like a roll and less like a flaky croissant. Fries and chocolate shake were tasty!nnThe restaurant had cute diner vibes, but the menu was surprisingly less diner-y with a few menu items in multiple forms. Like the few diner staples they had: Ruben and BLT available as a wrap and as a sandwich.nnThey only serve breakfast till 11 and a limited breakfast till 2.

Great place good value never disappoints staff is always nice. If you are looking for a 5 star restaurant don’t go but if you want a great meal at a fair price it’s hard to find a better place to stop in.nProblem I have is I want to try other selections but I enjoy the open face pot roast and can’t ever get past that.

We decided to try this diner again after a year and thought when we saw the people waiting outside to get in to eat that it had to be great! Waitress was very nice and tried accommodating us and I can’t say she was at fault but we won’t go again.nnWe waited at least little over 30 minutes for breakfast, my breakfast was fine but not hot, my husband ordered the country breakfast which was sausage/biscuits with eggs and got country chicken/ gravy cold. The fries soft not crispy and cold . Told the waitress the mistake and she immediately returned and got the sausage/gravy. Returning in a very short time. We both kinda knew it was cold because no steam coming off the food and found it very cold , tasted like canned condensed sausage gravy 🥹 Awful tasting stuff, I wouldn’t recommend this place for breakfast because the cooking looks good when presented but cold? We did not get charged for my husband’s meal which was very nice but I rather stay home, go to McDonald’s or our favorite place MOODYS diner😁

Great place to grab a bite to eat. Serenity was an amazing server who recommended the perfect dish to fill me up! It was delicious. The fish sandwich was just as great. The haddock chowder was more of a soup but boy was it flavorful.
