Penelope’s Lil’ Cafe

I liked the meal although, I feel the meal was a lot better the 1st time I went which is why I wanted to visit again. The ribeye was cooked perfectly but it tasted old. Hashbrowns were just a little lukewarm but eggs and pancakes were perfect temp and cooked very well. I also ordered a side of mashed potatoes and gravy bc the 1st time it was so delicious; bringing back childhood memories but not so this time.

After hearing about Penelope's on LNK Today's Munch Madness, we decided to take our out-of-town family visitors to breakfast there. We had a big group, so we made a reservation in advance. The food was tasty with generous portions, the service was great, friendly and professional. This was our first time, but we will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful experience! We were seated right away, and even though the place was busy, our waiter Paul greeted us immediately and took great care of us. He checked in often to make sure everything was perfect. Our food came out quickly and was absolutely delicious. My picky daughter loved the breakfast wrap. I enjoyed the French toast combo, and my partner couldn’t get enough of the Penelope’s combo. We highly recommend this place!

Penelope's is a true hole-in-the-wall hidden gem. Our first (and definitely not our last) visit was thanks to a friend who told me how yummy Penelope's is.nnI can confidently say that I agree with my friend! Our amazing server, Ramona was a rockstar. She served us coffee right away, explained and sold us on the day's specials. She described these meals so well with enthusiasm, we had to get both specials.nnMy husband and I indulged in the chicken fried steak skillet for $12.99 and the stuffed very berry French toast. Both meals did not disappoint and I would strongly recommend.nnOur food came out quickly. I can see why this restaurant has won many awards!nnI just wish they had more parking to accommodate their customers.nnOur meal came out to $37. This included my toddler's kids meal as well.nnI highly recommend this place for breakfast!
