Peavine Bakery & Cafe

This place was phenomenal. We were on our way back to my in laws and were passing through VT and NH along back roads when we came across this place.nnIt's super charming. Small and cozy. We went for lunch and everything was so delicious! The sourdough bread for the sandwiches was so fantastic that we got a loaf to go.nnThis wonderful place is a gem. The area is blessed to have Peavine.

This place is a must visit. Only ten minutes off of the highway, this authentic farm to table restaurant makes you feel right at home.nnI don’t normally write long reviews, but this restaurant warrants all the praise. The prices are very fair, they sell cute mocktails, and there is an open kitchen concept which I love. Natural light pours into all of the windows instead of large artificial lights. The property by itself is so beautiful.nnThe food was outstanding. We came for Mother’s Day brunch in which they had a unique and diverse menu. One of the owners mentioned they slaughter their own pigs on site to make sausage. You truly cannot get fresher food than this. Maybe it’s because I am out of town, but I am blown away by the quality, freshness, and locality of the food.nnI give kudos to these two couples for following their dreams and opening this restaurant. They deserve all of the business and love they are getting from the community! I made sure to purchase a fresh tulip bouquet on my way out, which would be more expensive and more wasteful at a corporate store.

Everything we had was so fresh and delicious! You could tell everything was made with so much care and with quality ingredients. It's a very new establishment so they're still working out a few kinks, but I'd still recommend stopping by if you're able. I'm sure in a few months things will be running more smoothly.

This was our first time visiting Peavine Bakery and Cafe. What a gem. They apologized for not having full menu due to Christmas holiday break. No need to apologize! Everything we had was delicious. Breakfast sandwiches, breakfast scramble, and the freshest English muffins I’ve ever had. So nice to take a half dozen home for later. We will be back.

Absolutely ruined my diet here when we went for breakfast, and I'd do it again in an instant. Fantastic pancakes and sourdough toast, great vibe and friendly service.
