First I’d like to say, we’re American. I know the US & Canadian climate is heated right now, and honestly we totally get it. We 100% get it and we hate it too.nWe stayed in Lac-Mégantic for two nights; it was incredible and everyone was so friendly. BUT we decided to go to dinner our last night and landed here. We were met by a female server, who once she heard English, went and got a male server. He told us the kitchen was understaffed and they were only accepting reservations, but we could stay for a drink. We sat at the bar and had a couple beers, and quickly noticed that we were the only ones denied food. We saw several other couples without reservations come in, get seated and order food. It was super disappointing and clear by the darting looks from the particular young man, that we were not welcome.nNot all was lost though. The Erdinger Dunkel beer was amazing and the live music was awesome. Just wish we had some food to go with it.
Very unique music cafe in the downtown. Their service is really good and the food was super nice. We had bailey’s early in the morning (hey, we were on holidays!) and tried some desserts. It was super nice! They accept cash and card. Definitely try their desserts, I strongly recommend that. Their carrot dessert was fabulous.
Good vibes and great ambiance! A nice place to grab some good burgers and fries! They also serve delicious local Quebec beers! For sport amateurs, they also have on display a bunch of signed sports memorabilia so it’s a plus to look at, very cool! A shoutout to our waiter Karym for an excellent job! We really enjoyed our night! Thank you!
Fantastic food, great service and a rapid turnaround on orders.nnFood was served quickly, and presented real well.nnFor the money it's exemplary and the chef has been allowed room to flourish. I'd 100% eat here again.nn(Forgot to take a photo of the main, but it was awesome)
2nd Visit (May '24) - had another fantastic late lunch here! Came back to the area to see the progress of the town and made sure to drop in for another meal. We started with the classic poutine which was delicious - such a great comfort food. For my lunch, I had the Bolognese Cavatelli and it was excellent. Our server was, once again, really cordial and friendly! Really happy to see his place having great success! 1st Visit (May '22) - Made a quick trip across the Maine border to check out Lac-Megantic and came across this awesome spot for lunch. Cold beer on tap and pretty good food. Very nice atmosphere and servers were very cordial.
