Great breakfast experience in town as we traveled through Myrtle Beach area, heading south, i searched where to eat locally and Johnny D's came up. It did not disappoint. The food was delicious. Everything came out quickly and the service was phenomenal. I tried the brisket skillet (as recommended)and I highly enjoyed it. My wife had the salmon lox 3 egg omelet, which was enormous. I got to try it as well and again delicuous. We also had the fresh pecan Waffle and their homemade corn hash. Try the hash! InWe definitely wil be back. Our server Gemma was friendly and amazing. I highly recommend asking her if you come in. This place has elevated breakfast but my ratings are based on doing the basics and doing them well. Great Johnny D's see you soon. 🙂
Visited this location New Year day. The place looked great with a Holiday theme throughout. The staff was very friendly and we, as well as others around us were taken care of very well. Very polite. The food was very good. The menu is is extensive. Tons of options. All in all this is an excellent breakfast spot.
We were in North Myrtle Beach for 5 days and we ate breakfast here for 4 of those days, would have been all 5 but we went somewhere else the first day! This place is fantastic!! The food was amazing! The service was perfect! I would encourage you to try the non traditional items on the menu, you will not be disappointed!
Decided to try this place after reading some reviews while I was in the local area.nnThe food was great. The red velvet waffles appear to be one of their best sellers and it was apparent why. They were good. I would also say there jambalaya omelette was absolutely amazing. Extremely surprised how great that was and I wish other establishments in my area would do the same. The pork belly benedict was not as great as it sounded. The pork belly was over cooked and should have just been crispy bacon.nnThe service was fast and great. Our waitress was very friendly and provided quality service.nnWould definitely come back if ever back visiting the local area
We had a great breakfast experience at Johnny D’s Waffles and Benedicts in North Myrtle Beach. The food was delicious, with a huge menu full of creative breakfast and brunch options, and it’s easy to see why this place is a local favorite.nnThe highlight of our visit was our server, Maggie. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Great service can make all the difference, and Maggie definitely helped make our visit enjoyable.nnThe only downside was that it was VERY warm inside the restaurant. We found ourselves sweating while eating, which made it a little uncomfortable and took away from an otherwise excellent dining experience. We also notice employees complaining and visually uncomfortable with the temperature inside the building. I feel the restaurant should definitely take actions to mitigate this discomfort.nnOverall, the food and outstanding service were enough that we would come back again. If the temperature inside the restaurant were a little cooler, this would easily be a 5-star experience. Thank you, Maggie, for the exceptional service! ⭐️
