We got seated right away. Our server took our order but seemed like she was in a rush because I ordered my meal she was like okay and then immediately asked my bf what he wanted and I was about to ask for an appetizer of onion rings. After my bf ordered she was like okay and about to turn around when I’m like um also we want onion rings. I didn’t like feeling rushed and cut off like that. I got the lobster Mac and cheese and it was good. It came out piping hot, it could’ve used a little more cheese sauce and a little more lobster but overall good. The onion rings were definitely the stand out! Average diner food overall but good. Decent prices.
This Diner is so cool, as it has the original Farmington streamliner Diner attached at the front of the building. We got there around 5:00 on a Friday night. We were quickly seated and our beverages were brought to us right away. My dining companion got the crab stuffed baked haddock special and I got the lite size turkey dinner, which was larger than I anticipated. The turkey was a deli turkey, but honestly, I'm okay with that. The stuffing, mashed potatoes, and gravy were all good. The cole slaw was better than average and the flavor reminded me of a famous beloved Colonel's recipe. Service was very speedy as well as very friendly. Food was good. Lemon meringue pie for dessert was a double serving, very lemony, if a bit on the radioactive yellow color spectrum. All in all, a decent Diner experience and I would not be averse to going back for a second try.
Great old school diner vibes. Order the prime rib and thank me later, Tasted like home cooking. Staff was down Earth/ good people. Will come back for breakfast
Had their breakfast, pretty simple menue, and food was good, but very basic and plain which isn't a bad thing! You get exactly what your order. I do wish breakfast came with a better selection of options and combos.
Limited food choices for a diner. I had the fried shrimp appetizer and my wife had the BLT. The shrimp were small but tasted ok. My wife BLT was equally ok. The fries were better.nnThe service was good and the atmosphere fine.
