Crest Cafe

Went to Crest Cafe as I heard it had great food. I wasn't disappointed. I ordered the famous Butter Burger plate, with their homemade chips. The burger was perfectly cooked and a generous portion. The owner came by and introduced himself. Fabi, our waitstaff, was very pleasant and attentive.nnI highly recommend Crest Cafe.

The main reason for trying this food was because way back in the day, Guy Fieri came here so we ordered what he ordered! We got the Butter Burger (Half pound of ground beef stuffed with garlic, tarragon, basil & parsley butter. Topped with cheddar cheese and garlic mayonnaise) with a side of onion rings and the Creme Brulee French Toast. Both were actually pretty good! The onion rings were a bit light but the taste made up for it! Nice pick Guy!

Neighborhood OG. Came here for brunch and it did not disappoint. I got the crab caked benedict while my partner ALWAYS gets the dish with chimichurri. The drinks are really great as well. We went on a rainy day so I got the hot coco and it had such a great deep flavor.

This is actually a really good place to have breakfast here if you are ever here in San Diego for whatever reason. The pancakes I ate were really delicious. The hard boiled eggs I ate were delicious too. I highly recommend them if you are here in the city. I give them 5 stars ⭐️

Great diner experience with large food serves; amazing malted milk shake. Not so impressed with the French fries.
