**This post strictly about the Tavern only**nI was vacationing nearby and was told this restaurant is a must and their burger came highly recommended. I tried it out and now I’m a fan. Their selection of local brews continuously washed my palate with the most appealing taste. I ordered bbq wings as my appetizer which was presented to me with the sauce poured on thick. Not what I expected, but this ain’t the south so I have to disregard their styling. A burger well done and potato wedges hit the spot, I should’ve ordered two. Lastly I ordered their honey salmon meal as takeout and when I finally tasted it I was very pleased. My return is absolutely warranted.
This is an epic place to stay. The food is great with local farm fresh Eggs and Bacon. Dinner with steak is good expensive but worth it. The rooms are nice and clean very cozy setting in Vermont. This is a fair priced inn so just do it you will like it take some photos like my parents did 50 years ago.
My 3 kids, wife and I stayed for two nights at the Inn for a long ski weekend. The room was clean and comfortable, plenty of hot water for showers and the location was so convenient. 6 minute drive to Mt Snow and the food at the tavern was great for kids and adults. Kids steak for $20 was a hit so was the Cesar salad with chicken or shrimp and the arugula salad. I had the scallop dish which was amazing. Real authentic old word charm, awesome bar with craft cocktails and a fine beer selection. We loved the live single musician music on both nights ad will definitely come back. Don't miss the oysters, the charm and the great waitstaff.
First time here visiting from Connecticut! This restaurant was amazing 10/10 no notes. The food is so good and tastes great! Definitely will be back
Jorja can be commended for her great service! Had thanksgiving dinner there and everything was perfection from service to food and ambiance. Jorja put a lot of effort into ensuring there were gluten free items for us (without making it seem like an inconvenience) and the thanksgiving meal was amazing (especially the gravy Oh my Gosh!). It’s great to see a spot that can adjust for gluten free!
