This was our first time trying turkish food and we were impressed! My partner didn't care for the coffee because he likes cream and lots of sugar. He also wasn't prepared for how tiny it would be. A little pricey for a small sip. However, the pide's were delicious! Just a little greasy. We got a four cheese one and the other with beef and cheese. We aren't from Vermont, so we hope to fine some near us! The owner also gave us some free cookies to sample. The other desserts looked good, but, we're trying to be good. Ha.
This place is such a cute stop for lunch and a good Turkish coffee. I originally walked in just for a coffee, but the pastries and flatbread looked so good I stayed to get food. We had the salad and it was delicious full of arugula and chickpeas. We also had a Pide (wood fired flatbread) full of tender meat and it was divine. If you're thinking about stopping just try it.
Great experience! Wonderful food and Wonderful service. There could have been a touch more salt on the Vegan Lahmacun, however that is just a personal preference not a rule. It was incredibly fresh and with some lemon and onion is was very flavorful.
Food, atmosphere, and service peak. Food was universally good to both my Turkish partner and my uncultured white person taste buds lol. They also had a selection of Turkish pastries that my spouse was so excited about and loved. Staff was very attentive, knowledgeable, and kind, as well.
The clerk was super friendly and explained the pastries and other options with lots of detail. We ordered way too much because we were celebrating a birthday. We loved everything. My favorite item was the spinach pastry. I'm looking forward to coming back soon!
