Ouellet Fish and Family Restaurant

This is an amazing place with delicious food, was my first stop in New Brunswick.

Very homey country style restaurant. We took the captain platter and a lobster roll. Both were tasty and we got value for our bucks. My husband took an apple pie (I don’t like applie pie) but he liked it. Service was great even if its was 1 hr before closing on a Sunday, we were served by Melissa.

Stopped here while driving by on the highway and was pleasantly surprised. The food here totally exceeded my expectations. One of the best fish & chips meals I have had in my life! The mashed potatoes were excellent as well. Henceforth I will plan a stopover here for a meal when I am traveling by Edmundston.

Food was good and large portion. Fast friendly service, we had the fish & chips, a Caesar salad and garlic shrimp on rice. Restaurant located on second floor lots of windows.

First I would like to say it was a wonderful experience and the staff very friendly.nI'm giving only a three stars because of the fish and chips. On the menu it shows battered.nWhat I got was frozen fish, premade with breadcrumbs. A wee bit disappointed on this, so if you decide to order the fish and chips see my picture for what you will get.
